We are honored to share that the Connecticut Humane Society Pet Resource Center in Wilton, CT has been recognized with an award of Excellence in the AIA Connecticut Business Architecture Awards program. This biennial award recognizes architects and their clients whose projects demonstrate how thoughtful design can advance business goals and create meaningful impact through the built environment.
The jury praised the project for its welcoming, non-institutional design and thoughtfully organized spaces that enhance both animal welfare and community engagement. Jurors also recognized the project’s measurable impact, noting that the facility has strengthened operations, expanded services, and created a transformative environment for staff, visitors, and animals alike.
