Our client was enticed by the potential of locating his upscale restaurant in an exciting historic structure with soaring 22’ ceiling heights, but was concerned the small footprint could not accommodate his desired seat count and full kitchen. Amenta Emma resolved this by inserting a mezzanine level over the kitchen for food storage, allowing the development of the remainder of the high bay space for a dramatic dining experience. An authentic South of the Border aesthetic was reinforced by the use of a fire treated eucalyptus log ceiling and recessed candle wall. Outdoors, South meets North with an al fresco dining terrace overlooking the New England Town Green.
