The Grove at Covenant Village of Cromwell

Cromwell, Connecticut

Amenta Emma completed renovations to an existing assisted living wing of 9,000 sf known as The Grove. The project converted a 16 resident apartment wing to an 18 resident Memory Care wing, with new common areas for activities, dining, a serving kitchen, and living space which offers a model for long-term care designed to look and feel like a real home. Designers employed “small house project” concepts, lighting strategies, spaces for continued learning and an outdoor garden to stimulate residents in day to day activities.

AIA National Design for Aging Award

From start to finish, they listened to the owner’s needs and desires and were responsive to changes in the field that are a result of any renovation. They have earned the trust of this owner and I would not hesitate to use them again.
