Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to project teams on a broad range of project types and scales, particularly supporting projects within academic and research institutions.

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to clients and teams by communicating and coordinating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule
  • Oversee project development on multiple projects varying in size and complexity
  • Establish the timing of key decisions and project milestones to meet established deadlines
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, and project set-up with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors
  • • Implement best practices utilizing established processes, reference standards, tools, templates, and technology
  • Train and mentor staff under your supervision
  • Prepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and fees

 

Experience + Qualifications:

  • A professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution
  • Architectural License preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in the academic market
  • Strong self-motivation and energy
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams of architectural designers and consultants
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office
