WORK DESIGN MAGAZINE HIGHLIGHTS AMENTA EMMA’S CONNECTICUT INNOVATIONS PROJECT

In an extensive feature Q&A, Work Design Magazine shines a light on Amenta Emma’s transformation of a 1950s bus depot into an “open, light-filled environment, with spaces for events, small-team collaborations and distancing” for Connecticut Innovations.

Work Design identifies itself as “the source for next work environments,” and the article mentions that the high ceiling and small offices and private work spaces were prescient pre-pandemic design choices. The detailed article, which was the top story on Work Design Magazine’s homepage, breaks down the programming and features of the space as well as the environmental and design challenges of adapting a former bus depot into a workplace.
