Amenta Emma Architects announces the addition of Brett Lambert as Associate Principal in its Boston office. He will also serve as the firm’s Director of Sustainability.
Lambert brings more than 20 years of experience leading multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use, and higher education projects. He will be instrumental in evaluating and advancing the firm’s sustainability initiatives, services, and design strategies.
Most recently with Boston’s Stantec Architecture, he led complex projects in Boston, Somerville, Cambridge, and Newton, MA.
As a sustainability leader, he led the development of in-house Passive House (WUFI) modeling and whole building life-cycle assessment. He developed in-house training and mentored others on sustainability topics, including passive house, embodied carbon accounting, and mass timber.
Lambert holds a Bachelor of Architecture with university and college honors from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
“We are incredibly excited to have Brett join our growing Boston office,” said Eric Weyant AIA, an Amenta Emma Principal and design director for the Boston office. “Throughout his career, Brett has delivered a steadfast commitment to sustainability and technical innovation on some of the most robust projects in the region. His leadership will help reinforce Amenta Emma’s commitment to inspired design with positive impacts.”
