We are seeking a project architect to join our Boston office. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving and verbal presentation skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to project teams on a broad range of project types and scales, in collaborative work environments.

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Lead a project team in the development of architectural documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Lead consultant communication to ensure coordination of project documents
  • Lead product research and coordinate technical aspects of a project design
  • Ensure conformance with code and regulatory standards

Experience + Qualifications:

Amenta Emma is seeking a Construction Administrator to join our Hartford office. Candidates must have excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills along with proven CA experience on complex academic, institutional and/or commercial projects.

Roles + Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biweekly site observations and prepare thorough field reports
  • Attend in-person weekly on-site and/or virtual O/A/CM meetings
  • Review and respond to contractor RFIs and submittals
  • Identify and resolve field conditions, conflicts, and unforeseen conditions in coordination with the internal Project Team
  • Maintain complete and organized project documentation throughout construction
  • Work collaboratively with the internal Project Team to respond to questions and coordination issues in a time-sensitive environment
  • Maintain ongoing, positive and proactive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and the internal team

 

Experience + Qualifications:

  • A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Architectural License preferred (but not mandatory)
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Expertise in leading (or serving in a key role) in the construction administration of complex construction projects
  • Review of pay applications and other construction-related financial documents
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Office, and ProCore (or equivalent)
