Quinnipiac University School of Business

Amenta Emma was selected to provide an interior renovation plan for the School of Business at Quinnipiac University. In support of the school’s mission to provide relevant business curriculum, the project added an Innovation Center and App Development Lab to the building to help foster programs for entrepreneurial development. Additionally, several tiered classrooms, a financial trading center and group study rooms were included in this renovation.

The key design charge for this renovation was to make the space brighter and project the School of Business as a 21st century place of learning. Interior finishes and new lighting were selected to complement the existing building while offering a new, lively environment for students and staff alike. Amenta Emma also worked to select updated furniture systems to provide more collaborative teaching and study environments throughout the School of Business.

The renovation of the Lender School of Business was truly transformational, allowing the school to revamp its image and environment in response to changing student and pedagogical needs. Amenta Emma’s creative resourcefulness and leadership were critical success factors in realizing the renovation in such a short time frame.
