Jenna McClure is a Principal-in-Charge and Senior Project Manager in Amenta Emma’s Academic Studio. Since joining the firm in 2008, Jenna has ushered numerous projects through all phases, from pre-design to construction administration.

As a Senior Project Manager, Jenna has overseen some of the firm’s most complex and notable projects such as the renovation of the Connecticut State Office Building in Hartford, and the Visual and Performing Arts Center at Western Connecticut State University.

“I love working directly with our clients, especially during the initial programming and planning phase of a project – discussing the vision, identifying goals, and exploring possibilities,” she says. “And, of course, watching an initial vision become a reality during construction is incredibly fulfilling.”

Jenna earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and her Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. She is a recipient of the Hartford Business Journal 40 Under 40 award, and is the 2024 Professional Women in Construction CT chapter Woman of Achievement honoree. Within the firm, she serves on the JEDI+B committee and leads the firm’s recruiting efforts. She is a mentor to Amenta Emma emerging professionals, and young women pursuing degrees in the AEC fields through various professional organizations. An active member of SCUP, Jenna has presented at several conferences and related professional events. She is currently serving as a Board Member of the West Hartford Design Review Advisory Committee.
