Gov. Ned Lamont, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, Mayor Shari Cantor, and other state and local leaders and stakeholders gathered Tuesday for a ceremonial beam signing, celebrating West Hartford’s newest transit-oriented project – the $20M mixed-use, mixed-income, multi-family residential and retail development – 540 New Park.
The building site is the former 2-acre Acme Auto Parts location and is equidistant from the Flatbush and Elmwood CTfastrak stations in West Hartford. It is also located a few blocks from 616 New Park – Amenta Emma’s first project with Trout Brook Realty Advisors and the West Hartford Housing Authority, and the first TOD on the CTfastrak line.
